The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by President Bob Adamitis, K9MDO. The minutes of the last meeting were not read by Secretary Jack Nienhaus, W9NJB as they had previously been provided to the membership by e-mail. The meeting was held in the shack of W9NJB that provided ample room for the four members that were in attendance. They were Phil, N9LAH; John, W9ILY; Bob, K9MDO; and Jack W9NJB. It was noted that this was the smallest attendance of any club meeting that those present could recall. This should result in renewed efforts to locate a permanent meeting location.

John Holmes, W9ILY reported on the 2007 Field Day results. W9TY finished #14 overall in Class 1A and #3 in the Midwest Division. Our final QSO count was 1,075 and our score was 4,102. Only 159 Qs separated us from a first place finish in the Midwest Division.

The members present decided that the scheduled date of December 21st was too close to Christmas and that the December meeting should be cancelled. Our next meeting will be the Annual Winterfest Banquet that will be held on Friday, January 18th, 2008 at the Old Barn Restaurant in Burbank. You will receive further information of this event in the future and you should mark your calendar now.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM and John, W9ILY showed a DVD presentation of XT2C, Burkina Faso DXpedition of January 2007. Metro member Bill Beyer, N2WB was included with this group. The video was very interesting and was well photographed and edited.
