METRO DX CLUB MEETING MINUTES The meeting was called to order at 7:35 by N9LAH. a.) Discussed health and welfare of W9ILY recuperating and
K9DRS who is currently in the emergency room. b.) Approved previous meeting minutes. Moved by K9TP,
seconded by K9CJ. c.) Discussed contest results for NAQP RTTY, NAQP CW, DX
Marathon, WPX RTTY. d.) Four new WUST award have been issued since the last
meeting. e.) Two Gold Certificates have been issued. f.) A Winterfest refund of $100 was received, thanks to
N9TK. The money will be held for future discussion. g.) Thanks came from the family of Al, W9YYG, for the club
donation to “Taking Control of Your Diabetes” in Al's memory. h.) The Metro DX Marathon winner for 2012 was K9NU. Paul
received a one year’s gift membership in INDEXA. i.) $108 was
donated to INDEXA from excess Winterfest funds. a.)
AI9L and AF9H were voted as honorary members. Moved by K9TP,
seconded by K9CJ. b.)
It was suggested that we donate $100 to Clublog. This will be
discussed at a future meeting. c.)
AES will be holding a Superfest on April 5 & 6 at the
Milwaukee store. We have a table reserved. N9LAH and his XYL Cindy are going to
attend. If you are interested in going, please let Phil know. d.)
It was decided not to make a donation directly to 5WØM. e.)
